Resist We Much
Reverend Al Sharpton has his own TV show. And he’s a genius at it:
“But resist we much. We must and we will much about that be committed.”
Oh brother.

…and jolly complicated it is, too:
In the recent Iowa straw poll (that thing where Republican voters say who they want to be the Presidential candidate) Bachman came first, narrowly beating Ron Paul in second place by just 200 votes. And, Bachman paid over 6,000 people to vote for her – but still only got 4,800 votes.
So, Ron Paul did very well. But, as always, the media just blatantly pretends he doesn’t exist. Even though all he talks about is sensible stuff, they deem him to be crazy and to be avoided. In fact, as this little video from John Stewart shows, the media is referring to a “top tier” of candidates which emerged from the straw poll which, for some reason, Paul just isn’t a part of.
You absolutely should watch this video. It’s brilliant.
Without a doubt one of my favourite Pixar shorts. So well thought out and executed perfectly:
Steve demos NeXTSTEP in his inimitable style, right down to saying doing something which happens instantly on NeXTSTEP would take “weeks on Windows”. It’s also great to see him hatin’ on the Mac. Also fascinating is the way so much of NeXTSTEP is now in the Mac (most notably being the dock).
It’s long, but worth it:
I don’t know what to say other than: WOW.
